Our Mindfulness sessions empower people to turn toward and acknowledge their difficult thoughts and feelings; hence it is the first step in emotional healing. The second step is Self-Compassion which involves responding to these difficult thoughts and feelings with kindness, sympathy and understanding. This is achieved by focusing on three key components:

  • Cultivating awareness
  • Paying attention to the present moment
  • Attitude that is non-judgmental, curious and kind.
